Come and see the bright Neon Lights
I am excited to present to you one of the most wild and unique blends in the Craft Tea collection: Neon Godiva! The star of this show is the purple leaf tea, a (somewhat) recently discovered tea in Kenya. Purple tea is special, not only because of the pretty infusion it yields, but it’s high levels of antioxidants which comes from the extreme elevation in which it is grown. Despite it being a being a true tea (specifically a Camellia Sinensis Assamica), it’s caffeine levels are pretty low, making this an excellent choice for those looking for a healthy and colorful boost in their day without feeling jittery.
Purple tea doesn’t have a ton of flavor, so I pair it with a really nice white tea, Himalayan White. I love it’s subtle, floral flavor which is almost honey-like. These vegetal tasting teas are then combined with colorful herbs to really bring out the magic in the cup. This begins with the sour Chinese berry, schizandra, which gives the cup it’s incredible color when combined with the purple tea and butterfly pea flower. The result is a refreshing, colorful treat.
