A colorful, citrus tea based off a cat cafe in South Philly
Psycho Kitty was originally developed as a custom blend for Kawaii Kitty Cafe, the cat cafe in South Philly and one of my favorite places in the city. Kawaii has a fresh ‘n fun vibe going on and makes for a great tasting tea. As weird as it sounds, it almost tastes like Fruit Loops, which is surprising because it’s only three ingredients: lemongrass, catnip, and butterfly pea flower which turns the drink blue!
The concept of the artwork is American Psycho meets Psycho Killer by Talking Heads. Maria Sadkova provides the fitting artwork. My girlfriend and I had a lot of fun filming a parody of American Psycho that featured Timothy Tebordo spoofing Talking Heads' Psycho Killer. Warning for those unfamiliar with American Psycho: the video satires a graphic scene some may deem offensive. Don’t worry, no cats (or people) were harmed filming the scene.
